Professor Chen has devoted his time and efforts to the researches of green building design, climate adaptable urban planning and building design, and Building energy efficiency design.He is the member of the China green building and energy saving committee, the Green Building Evaluation Committee. He also belongs to the researcher fellowship of Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo.
